Treci kragujevacki bataljon primary school, located in Kragujevac, Serbia, is a highly respected public school dedicated to providing quality primary education for students aged 6 to 15 years old. As a state school and a non-profit organization, our mission is to foster the comprehensive growth and development of our students, in accordance with the educational guidelines established by the Republic of Serbia. Our institution's primary activities are defined and regulated by the Ministry of Education. We are committed to enhancing students' functional knowledge, competencies and skills at the primary level, preparing them for continued education and future careers. Treci kragujevacki bataljon is more than an educational institution; it's a community where passion, dedication, and collaboration converge to shape future leaders and lifelong learners. Our school has been recognized as one of the top 50 performing schools in the country, as evaluated by the Ministry of Education. Our school accommodates 769 students, spanning two cycles: grades one to four (ages 6 to 10) and grades five to eight (ages 11 to 15). The first cycle emphasizes foundational literacy in subjects like mother tongue, English, math, arts, and PE. In the second cycle, we nurture 21st-century skills across various subjects, including mother tongue, two foreign languages, social sciences, humanities, and STEAM subjects. Our diverse student body includes 115 students (15%) from the Roma community, enriching their educational experience. We also support 38 students (5%) with individual education plans, addressing various mental and physical challenges. Recognizing socioeconomic diversity, we actively assist 153 students (20%) from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Guiding this educational journey are our dedicated educators - 62 in total - comprising 20 class teachers and 42 subject teachers. Our non-teaching staff, consisting of 17 members, play pivotal roles in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school community. This diverse ensemble includes a school principal, deputy school principal, school secretary, librarian, psychologist, accountants, cook, janitor, and a team of committed cleaners.
