The Stoilesti Secondary School is a small school, with a small number of students, which is due to the demographic situation of the locality of which it is a part. Within the school there are 2 kindergarten groups, 4 primary classes and 4 secondary school classes, all the classes are working simultaneously. Even in these more special conditions, the school makes efforts to have continued good results in national assessments. In addition to the normal activities of the school, there are also other complementary programs : remedial and after-school activities for school students (for primary and secondary school students). The main objectives of these activities are two: preventing school dropout and maintaining a high level of quality for the educational services they provide the school offers. Our institution also emphasizes the integration of students with special needs, as well as students from families with reduced income considering the fact that the locality is one with many beneficiaries of social aid. In the 2023-2024 school year, our school educates one hundred and thirty-nine children: thirty-one preschoolers, fifty-five students in the primary school and fifty-three students in the secondary school cycle. Our unit educates children between three and fifteen years old. There are few students coming from single-parent families or with parents who have gone abroad (under 5%). The school does not register cases of abandonment school only very rarely (1-2 cases per 10 years), but the number of those who continue their studies after high-school is getting smaller. The Stoilesti Secondary School has a complex managerial structure, a result of the school's specific situation. The school is led by a director (headmaster) who is responsible for all the activities of the school and its structures. The director is helped by the educational advisor, with a role in the coordination of class master and extracurricular activities. Every school structure is coordinated by a teaching staff appointed by the school's Administrative Council. The latter is also the one who takes the most important decisions for the school, as part of the Board of Directors, including the director, two teachers, two representatives of the parents and two representatives of the local authorities. There are two kindergartens, one primary school and two secondary schools which are component parts of the main school. There are three locations in three different villages. The Stoilesti Secondary School serves eight from fifteen villages components of the locality. The villages are razed, the roads are not modernized in a proportion of 80%, which determined maintaining small school structures with reduced numbers and in a simultaneous regime. This thing makes it a special role in the organization and functioning of the Stoilesti School and its structures should be the responsibility of the persons with the role of class master. They are real administrators and managers of the classes they lead or maintain. The school is led by a director, who is also a teacher. In this school year, two educators, four primary-school teachers and fourteen teachers for the secondary school are teaching in our school and in all its structures.
